So I watched this scene again a few moments ago and realized something. It took one second for Levi to travel from the top of the female titan's head to her feet. That means Levi can move at 45 feet per second and make precision cuts that disable titans at the same time. No wonder he is the best.
So it begs the question: Why didn't he do that in the first place instead of letting half his crew be killed by her, especially Petra, when he had much more men to back him up instead of a shock-filled Mikasa, and Titan Eren at his back?
I meant before that, when Eren was first tempted to go Titan on Annie's butt, but they chose not to so they could capture her. Levi said he can do it if he wants, but in actuality, they should've attacked without Eren's faith or not. In anime/manga, it's a well common fact that if you want to capture a character, you first need to attack to kill them; if they live through the assault, great, let's haul their half-dead ass back to base, if they die, oh well, nice try
